Why Death Valley? We were a little skeptical about driving four and a half hours to Death Valley to see… a big empty desert, but the sailing rocks (the mysterious rocks that […]

Hearst Castle

It was so amazing walking through these intricately designed rooms and learning a little bit about the history. Although our tour was only 45 minutes, I felt like we hardly touched the surface! I would gladly go back and pay for the other tours!

The entire park was absolutely beautiful! There are so many hikes and other recreational things to do! By far our favorite was the sunrise at Glacier Point.

Just sitting here debating whether or not to make any New Years resolutions this year... do any of you make New Years resolutions? I feel like I always have really great intentions and then life happens and I’m back to my normal habits... I’m thinking one simple goal to exercise a few days a week will be plenty, and once that becomes a habit I’ll add some more later in the year. I mean, after 2020, anything I do will be an improvement 😂
What has been your most memorable Christmas gift? When I was a kid we got a trampoline and it was epic! It was all set up and ready to go Christmas morning. Best day ever.
And now, for our big Announcement! Now that we have told most of our family and given Joshua’s work his notice, I can share: WE ARE MOVING 😍😍😍 whaa!? Josh recently accepted a job over from @dallinnead and we are headed out West!!! If you know us, SE Idaho has been calling our name for a while now and we are so glad the opportunity has now come to take our family out there ❤️ we are also SO excited for the opportunity to work for Dallin and all the experiences and adventures to be had with his company as well! We will miss our family and the friends we have made on this side of the US and hope to make the most of the time we have left in MD❤️
Check out my stories for reviews and discount codes on some great album companies ❤️ (they’ll be saved in my highlights if you don’t have time to check it out RN)
Did you know that Bison dislike human kids/babies crying just as much as humans 😅 yeah... we learned that the hard way this past September when we were visiting Yellowstone. Luckily we were “social distancing” from the animals and no children were hurt... physically at least... Addie may or may not be terrified of bison now...
If you’re looking for wildlife in places like Yellowstone and the Tetons, you are so much more likely to get lucky if you venture out at dawn and dusk vs in the middle of the day. Unless you’re looking for a moose... I swear the only times I have seen these ginormous creatures have been in the middle of the day
